Global Detroit is an economic development organization dedicated to leveraging immigrant talent and entrepreneurship to strengthen Michigan’s economy. Through our Global Entrepreneur in Residence (Global EIR) program, we help immigrant founders secure visa sponsorship, launch businesses, and contribute to the local start-up ecosystem. Additionally, our Global Talent Retention Initiative (GTRI) ensures international students and professionals have the resources to stay and thrive in Michigan.
